2016 Summer Staff

  • Emma Van der Aarde

    Logistics Specialist

    Junior: International Studies & French

Born and raised in Lincoln, England, I moved to Martinsburg, WV for my junior year of High School. A veritable fish out of water, I took comfort in the outdoors and all the beauty this new home has to offer. As a freshman, I participated in Adventure WV's Wilderness orientaion trip, and fell more deeply in love with West Virginia. I enjoy hopping, skipping, jumping, and frolicking, as well as sedentary pursuits like knitting, binge-watching Netflix whilst cradling a jar of Nutella, and tutoring.
