Tricia was born and raised in the mountains, lakes, streams, and oceans of Northern New England. After studying Journalism, Spanish, and Outdoor Education at college, Tricia worked at a variety of outdoor programs: guiding ice/glacier/rock climbing trips in AK, managing a college adventure program in CO, teaching high school Spanish and coaching whitewater kayaking in ME, leading 30-day trips in British Columbia, ski patrolling on a mountain in New England, and assistant directing a semester-long Outdoor Education semester in MA and the Sierra Nevada.
Tricia returned to the Northeast to graduate with an M.S. in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire. She worked as the Assistant Director of Outdoor Education at Colorado College before relocating to WV in 2015, and is excited about continuing her passion to help students develop lifelong leadership and learning skills through the outdoors! You can usually find her whitewater kayaking somewhere on a river, skiing on a mountain, or doing just about anything else that gets her outside and active. Also, maple syrup.
