I grew up in Massachusetts and spent as much time as I could exploring the White Mountains of New Hampshire. After college, where I worked as an outdoor program leader and majored in the History of Science, I worked seasonally for outdoor programs in New Hampshire, California, and North Carolina, before eventually returning to graduate school for outdoor education at the University of New Hampshire.
I spent my first two years after graduate school working for the Venture program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and relocated to Morgantown in June of 2013 to work with Adventure WV. I work closely with two Program Coordinators, a Graduate Assistant, and student staff to coordinate our Orientation Experiences (Trips, Mountaineer Quest, Community Connection, and NSO Basecamp), SOAR, and International Programs. I have a two year old daughter, Ila, and a beloved cat, Ofelia. Being a parent is the greatest adventure of all.
